This option can be added to any pigeon purchase. You'll get a diaper for your bird, a leash, 5 pounds of food, half a pound of grit, and one handheld feeding container. This is an estimated 3 month supply.
$50 for shipping or $35 for local pickup.
All customers picking up locally get free food and grit for one month and my handheld container. This price mostly covers shipping and a diaper.
SHIPPING: For $25 extra I will put a diaper that fits your pigeon to make things easier as well as my personal feeding container in the shipping box. For pickup this is $20.

$30For an extra $30 (REFUNDABLE) due at shipping I will add an Apple AirTag to the box that way you can track where exactly your bird is during the process if you or anyone you know has an iPhone, iPad or Mac.
This is refunded if you ship the Apple AirTag back to me. My address will be on the shipping box. It usually costs around $5 to ship it back so it's basically nothing. You can also keep the AirTag for the $30 as that's what they sell for anyways and I will buy another.

Why Pigeons?

Pigeons were the first domesticated bird, bred as pets thousands of years ago, long before parrots. They're quiet, friendly, aren't destructive and can't hurt you. Most pigeons for sale are already grown and were never hand raised, so they don't bond with humans. All of mine are hand raised, recall trained, diaper trained, and socialized.
Hand fed and handled
I hand-feed multiple times a day and spend real time with each bird, so bonding to people is built in from the start.
Recall-trained
Birds already fly to a call and a salt-shaker cue before they go home, you're just transferring the habit to yourself.
Diaper-trained
Cleanup is minimal from day one. Pigeon poop doesn't smell or stain nearly as much as people expect.
Background in animal training
I used to travel the country training horses and exotics (zebras, camels, water buffalo, alpacas) before focusing on pigeons.
I started this because there is no way to get a true pet pigeon. The only way to get a pigeon is from a rescue, and you never know what you're going to get. Most of them are scared of people. Breeders sell birds as "pets" but they are already grown, not friendly, not hand raised or trained at all. My background is in animal training, not breeding.
I want to offer a market for pigeons trained specifically to be super friendly and someone's pet. When you buy a pigeon from me, you know exactly what happens. It's healthy, trained properly, and meant for you to take home as a pet.
All my babies are raised indoors to be protected from diseases and heavily socialized. Each bird is raised with another pigeon so they are not isolated and forced to be with us. They grow up being good with people AND other pigeons.
I free fly my birds to build confidence but I don't recommend it to customers, I strive to provide the friendliest pigeon you will ever find. I highly recommend a leash if you plan to take your bird outside and all my birds do great with them.

Meet the Birds
You're always welcome to come meet the birds in person: see how they live, check in on training progress, or watch them fly outside. Deposit holders get video updates along the way. If you want to meet, I visit Pioneer Park or Porter Park in Mesa frequently to do my training.

Ready for a bird, or just have questions?
A $25-$50 deposit goes towards holding your bird, and towards the purchase. Without a deposit, it's first-come-first-served. I get a lot of messages, so a deposit is strongly recommended if you're serious. Most birds get sold by the time they are fully trained because of high interest.
